"Addiction"For this year's VAM10 independent project, I've decided to make a series of three paintings called "Addiction," showcasing the isolation and drainage that knowing or being an addict can cause. Through the use of colour and symbolism. From decaying lungs to someone being completely alone. These three paintings showcase the three main addictions often shown in the media. Heroine, alcohol, and nicotine. Inspired by family members, and close friends.

VAM Art ShowcaseA small event showcased student artwork, music, and short films, featuring a piece I've been working on with the Visual Arts and Media Academy, this was so fun and I hope to do it again!Showcased |
I loved the art show. It was a great opportunity for young artists to grow and expand, gaining confidence within their work to share it with the world. Not only was it for art but it was for many other students with different interests, like cooking, music, construction, and drama! | |
These two photos are the best of my work in the art showcase. I am super proud of them and how they turned out, showing the progress i've made over the semester. This has definitely helped me grow my confidence in my art, helping me be open to criticism and critique from others.
